Mardi Gras
The official Mardi Gras colors are Purple, Green, and Gold. French for Fat Tuesday, the day of feasting before the start of Lent, Mardi Gras is an ancient festival that originated in Rome. Today it's a big celebration in New Orleans. People love to dress up for Mardi Gras!
